The "Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft" (DFG) is funding a research project on the subject "sources, types, and consequences of the concept "Bevölkerung" (population) before, during, and after the 'Third Reich'." Thirty historians, sociologists and political scientists will, over the course of six years, examine questions regarding the history of demographics in twentieth century Germany. Dr. Üner will investigate the works of the Leipzig School as they pertain to the subject.
